About Aurelia Botanics
- Who is behind Aurelia Botanics?
Aurelia Botanics is a Swiss natural-cosmetics brand based in Opfikon (canton of Zurich). Its products are made by Aurelia Botanics itself to its own recipes, prepared in small batches and filled by hand.
- Are the products vegan?
Yes. Aurelia Botanics makes vegan natural cosmetics. The full ingredient list of each product is on its product page and its label.
- Which oils does Aurelia Botanics use?
Mostly unrefined, cold-pressed plant oils, chosen for each recipe. The oils in each product are listed below, product by product.
- Why can a new batch look slightly different?
With natural raw materials, slight differences in colour, natural scent, consistency or appearance can occur depending on origin, harvest and batch. This is not a defect, as long as the product's quality, safety and intended use are not affected.

Golden Resin Oil
- What is in Golden Resin Oil?
Jojoba oil, castor oil, black cumin oil, rosehip oil and vitamin E.
Alongside these, three selected frankincense resins: Boswellia sacra, Boswellia serrata and Boswellia papyrifera.
- Who is Golden Resin Oil suited to?
Particularly suited to:
- dryness and a feeling of tightness
- skin that looks sensitive or stressed
- redness and an unbalanced complexion
- a dull, tired complexion
- rough patches
- skin prone to blemishes
- mature skin and visible signs of skin ageing

Hair Growth Oil
- What is in Hair Growth Oil?
Jojoba oil, castor oil, black cumin oil, pumpkin seed oil, coconut oil, argan oil, amla oil and crambe oil.
The formulation is completed with rosemary essential oil and vitamin E oil. At its centre are three selected herbs: rosemary, nettle and hibiscus.

- Who is Hair Growth Oil suited to?
Particularly suited to:
- fine hair, or hair that looks limp
- breakage and weakened lengths
- dry and brittle hair
- a dry scalp, or one in need of care
- stressed ends
- a wish for stronger, denser-looking hair
- an intensive hair and scalp care routine
Suitable for all hair types.
- How do I use Hair Growth Oil?
Use at least once a week. For a more intensive routine we recommend using it twice a week.
Apply a generous amount directly to the scalp and massage in gently with your fingertips for a few minutes. Work it through the lengths and ends as well, if you like.
Leave in for at least 3–4 hours. For particularly intensive care the oil can also stay in the hair overnight.
Then wash out thoroughly with shampoo. Depending on how much hair you have and how much oil you used, a second wash may be needed.
With regular use the intensive care can unfold at its best.
- What should I know before using Hair Growth Oil?
- For external use only.
- Before first use, carry out a patch test on a small area of skin.
- Stop using it if irritation, redness or other signs of intolerance appear.
- Avoid contact with the eyes.
- Keep out of the reach of children.
- Store cool, dry and away from direct sunlight.
- Use within 12 months of opening.
- How much does Hair Growth Oil cost?

Golden Resin Body Butter
- What is in Golden Resin Body Butter?
Shea butter, rosehip oil, pomegranate seed oil, jojoba oil, castor oil, arrowroot starch and vitamin E.
At the heart of Golden Resin Body Butter are rich shea butter, selected plant oils and an unusual combination of real frankincense and myrrh resin. Rosehip and pomegranate seed oil round out the care for demanding skin, while jojoba and castor oil lend the composition extra richness and suppleness. Arrowroot starch and vitamin E complete the formulation.

- dry and very dry skin
- rough or chapped areas
- a feeling of tightness
- stressed skin in need of care
- dry elbows, knees and shins
- a wish for intensive, rich body care
- How do I use Golden Resin Body Butter?
Take a small amount and massage it gently into the skin.
Especially pleasant after showering or bathing, on skin that is still slightly damp. Apply a little more generously to dry or rough areas as needed.
The body butter is highly concentrated – a small amount is already enough.

Use and skin tolerance
- What if I have sensitive skin or allergies?
Check the ingredients on the product page and the label before use. Natural and plant-based ingredients can also cause intolerances or allergic reactions. If your skin is sensitive, try a new product on a small area of skin first. Stop using it if an unwanted reaction appears, and seek medical advice if symptoms persist or are more severe.
- Do the products replace medical treatment?
No. Aurelia Botanics products are cosmetics for external use. They are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any illness and are not a substitute for medical advice.
Ordering and payment
- Which payment methods can I use?
You can pay with TWINT or by credit card. Payment is processed by the payment provider Stripe; the methods available are shown during checkout.
- Do prices include VAT?
All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF) and are final prices. Aurelia Botanics is currently not liable for VAT. Shipping costs are shown separately before you complete your order.
- How many of one product can I order?
An order can contain at most 6 of any one product.
- A product cannot be ordered. How will I know when it is available?
On the product page you can ask to be notified. We will write to you as soon as the product can be ordered.
Shipping and returns
- Where does Aurelia Botanics deliver?
Currently only to delivery addresses in Switzerland. Delivery abroad is not offered.
- How long does delivery take?
Usually 2 to 4 working days, with Swiss Post. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are not counted.
- How much is shipping?
Shipping costs CHF 6.90 per order. From an order value of CHF 60, shipping is free.
- Can I return or exchange a product?
No. Aurelia Botanics grants no voluntary right of return, withdrawal or exchange, including for unopened products. Statutory rights for defective, damaged or incorrectly delivered goods remain unaffected.
- What if a product arrives damaged or is the wrong one?
Write to info@aureliabotanics.ch as soon as possible, with your order number, a short description and, for visible damage, photos of the product and the packaging. Please do not send anything back without agreeing it with us first.
- Which warranty applies?
Swiss law applies. The statutory limitation period for defects in new goods is generally two years from delivery.

Ten days after shipping, we invite every customer by email to review the product they bought. Published reviews appear on the product's page.

Care notes, a look at how the products are made, and a short message as soon as a new batch is set to infuse. Every newsletter email contains an unsubscribe link.
